At Farm At Hand, we aim to put our customers first and are working hard to find new ways to provide you – our valued customer – with increased value and satisfaction.


As part of an ongoing effort to create and support the next generation of farm technologies, our software development team has begun working on extensive upgrades to our existing software.

Beginning November 7, 2022 and over the course of several days, you're going to notice changes to Farm At Hand. Once these changes have been implemented, you’ll receive further instructions regarding setting up your account.

Once we’re ready to launch, the following will take place:

  • We will notify you via email that we’ve begun
  • From there, we will move your farm information to the new Farm At Hand platform
  • You’ll receive a follow-up email to verify your account
  • Once your account is verified, you can continue farming!

Farm At Hand is a collaborative, farm management solution that empowers you to organize tasks, allocate resources and record activities on your farm more efficiently while extracting insights to make critical, on-the-go business decisions.

New look & feel

You’ll soon have access to exciting new features, including:

  • Additional GIS capabilities, such as displaying map layers, pinning rocks and scouting
  • Live market pricing for budgets and crop marketing plans
  • Specific member notifications for activities, including scouting and spraying
  • Ability to manage pricing, contracts and storage log of crop inputs
  • Add-on services such as soil testing, precision agronomy services and crop marketing

And you’ll still have access to popular Farm At Hand features, such as:

  • Record-keeping for field activities, contracts, inventory and equipment
  • Crop planning and budgets
  • Custom permissions for everyone on the farm
  • Collaboration capabilities and the ability to share reports with service providers

As a result of these changes, on November 7, 2022, access to your old Farm At Hand account will no longer be available. What is the new Farm At Hand?

We’re excited to introduce the next generation of Farm At Hand. As part of an ongoing effort to create and support the next generation of farm technologies, our software development team has begun working on extensive upgrades to our software.


There will be exciting new features, including pre-formatted recommendations for recording activities quickly and easily, customized permissions for everyone at the farm and more detailed reports for you to get the information you need.

Why is there going to be a new Farm At Hand?

We have been working hard to find new ways to provide our customers with increased value and satisfaction. By building a new Farm At Hand, we’ve set the foundation for building new features and upholding our commitment to privacy. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you in the new Farm At Hand!

Will I still be able to access my farm information?

Yes! We will be automatically transferring all of your farm information and records to the new Farm At Hand platform.

Once we have completed transferring all Farm At Hand accounts, access to your old Farm at Hand account will no longer be available. If need be, please ensure you download any farm information you require prior to then.

As a reminder, all of your historical field data and records will be retained when we transfer your farm information to the new platform. The only difference is that it will be on the new Farm At Hand. Contact our support team support@farmathand.com if you require any assistance or have questions about this.

How can I start using the new Farm At Hand?

It’s easy! If you are based in Canada, the U.S. or Australia, we will automatically transfer all of your farm information to the new Farm At Hand platform. Once we launch, you’ll be ready to go!


Once we’ve completed the transition, you will receive an email with a link to activate your Farm At Hand account. From there, you will set up a new password and then you’re all set to get started with the new Farm At Hand!

Can I transfer my existing information to the new Farm At Hand?

Yes! We will be transferring all of your field records and farm information automatically and at a staggered pace. For example, all of your field activities, contracts and delivery records will be transferred at the start. Afterwards, we will transfer records related to custom crops (if you used custom crops) and then we will transfer over photos.


We will be transferring farm information for those in Canada, the U.S. and some farms in Australia. If you are an Australian farm and would like to have your information transferred, please let our support team know.


Afterwards, we’ll email you a link to activate your new account. Once you sign into the new Farm At Hand, you’ll see your field records and farm information there.
If you are outside of Canada, the U.S. or Australia, please ensure you download your Farm At Hand information prior to November 7. If you need assistance retrieving your farm information, please contact our support team (support@farmathand.com).

What will happen to my Farm At Hand subscription?

If you are in Canada,the U.S. or Australia and have an active account, your Farm At Hand subscription will no longer renew –this is because we are now offering Farm At Hand at no cost! Those with a paid subscription will receive a prorated credit for Decisive Farming by TELUS Agriculture services. We’ll be sending out more information about this in the coming months!


What will happen to my Farm At Hand subscription if I am outside of Canada, the U.S. or Australia?


If you are outside of Canada, the U.S. or Australia, your subscription will no longer renew. As a result of significant technical upgrades, we will no longer be able to support regions outside of Canada, the U.S and Australia. Please contact our support team (support@farmathand.com) and we will work with you regarding the remainder of your subscription.


Important: If you purchased your Farm At Hand subscription through the Apple store, please contact our support team so we can assist you.

What if I want to gain access to the new Farm At Hand prior to November 7, 2022?

The migration process takes time so it is not feasible to migrate your farm information prior to when we begin transition. If you would like an early look at the new Farm At Hand then please contact support@farmathand.com to request a demo and we’d be happy to give you a tour of our new platform.

What if I don’t want to migrate my farm information over?

If you would like to exclude your farm information from being transitioned over to the new Farm At Hand, please alert us by emailing support@farmathand.com. We will be happy to work with you to ensure that your information is secure after the transition.

Will I need to pay any connection fees?

There are no fees associated with transitioning over to the new Farm At Hand. On November 7, 2022, simply activate your new account and your farm information will already have been imported at no cost.

How much will this cost me?

There are no fees. You can use the new Farm At Hand at no cost and we will migrate your farm information to our new platform at no additional charges.
